We hope you find a special way to celebrate this 4th of July. Eat plenty, laugh a lot, and gather in groups of 25 or less .

Upneeq is a new prescription medication that helps to lift eyelids suffering from ptosis, a condition associated with aging. Upneeq stimulates Mueller’s muscle (a small muscle attached to the eyelid) to contract which temporarily opens the eye. Results can be seen within 15 minutes after application, and effects can last up to 6 hours or more.

WHAT IS PTOSIS?

Ptosis is when the upper eyelid droops over the eye which can limit or even completely block a person’s field of vision.

Upneeq is a new prescription medication that helps to lift eyelids suffering from ptosis, a condition associated with aging. Upneeq stimulates Mueller’s muscle (a small muscle attached to the eyelid) to contract which temporarily opens the eye. Results can be seen within 15 minutes after application, and effects can last up to 6 hours or more.

WHAT IS PTOSIS?

Ptosis is when the upper eyelid droops over the eye which can limit or even completely block a person’s field of vision.

Although it is thought to be a very safe medication, it is not recommended for people with acute angle glaucoma.
