What is PRP Hair Restoration?
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a non-invasive treatment that aids and maintains hair growth in thinning areas when applied directly to the scalp.
One vial of your blood is drawn and spun down in a centrifuge to separate out the plasma and platelets. Rich in growth factors, PRP is then injected into the scalp, promoting natural hair growth.

Most patients are candidates for this treatment. PRP Hair Restoration cannot be performed on patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or who are on continuous anticoagulation therapy. Our providers can determine if PRP Hair Restoration is right for you!
How frequently should I get PRP Hair Restoration?
We recommend a series of at least 4 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart, and a maintenance treatment every 4-6 months. This will vary depending on your baseline condition.
What is my recovery time?
You may experience mild swelling and redness at the injection area post treatment, but this usually subsides within 24-36 hours. Avoid swimming and excessive sweating for 48 hours. You can wear a hat post treatment for extra protection.
